Looper to Open TIFF 2012

The Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starring sci-fi actioner Looper will be the opening film at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Anyone else notice that this is the year of Levitt? He’s becoming quite the star, and no wonder.

Synopsis: In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to ‘close the loop’ by transporting back Joe’s future self.
