The Expendable Connection

God Bless The Expendables. I’m not referring to the film itself or anything in particular towards the actual movie, but rather the cast and the subsequent “networking” that has occurred because of it. It’s like when all these action stars got together, they just thought to themselves “Hey, we should make movies together”.

Stallone and Schwarzenegger JUST NOW realize that they should make movies together after The Expendables. We have Scott Adkins and Dolph Lundgren in a movie coming soon. The possibilities are endless. JCVD and Jet Li in a future movie.

Which begs the question: What took them so long?

So many opportunities and it took The Expendables to reach that point where they should team up in separate movies. I can picture that conversation right now:

Arnold: That’s was great Stallone. I haven’t had this much fun since I had that orgy with my servants on the secret island.

Stallone: I’m glad you like it. It was a lot of fun. I want to do more of this.

Arnold: SLY! We should make a movie together!

Stallone: Can we do that?

Arnold: Of course. We couldn’t do it back in the 80’s because we were so busy, but NOUW….We can.

Stallone: That does sound like a great idea.

Arnold: Then it’s official. To the choppa!!!!

About the Author

Omar
My name is Omar and I love action movies. I grew up loving action films thanks in part to my father who would deliver a healthy dose of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Seagal in my movie diet. Ever since then, I continue to love the genre more and more and go along perfectly with my love for the horror genre. What other movie genre can specialize in giving you pure adrenaline and excitement in every turn?
