Why is Arnie’s Dialogue so Amazing?

We all love Arnold Schwarzenegger. The man is action royalty if not THE King of the genre. His resume is jam-packed with classics like Total Recall, the Terminator franchise, Commando, and Predator. The man is a living legend, but I notice one thing that truly sets him apart from most action icons of that era: how quotable he is.

Whether it is his accent or the dialogue itself, it seems like every word he says is instant gold. Whether it is golden one liners “Get to Da Choppa!” or simple lines “You Blew My Cover!” they are all instantly quotable and fun to mimic with friends. You can all kinds of people imitate Arnold. Mothers, fathers, old people, governors, other actors, and so on. Hell, even his screams and laughs are imitated and how often do you find people imitate an actor’s laugh or scream. It separates Arnold into another echelon of actor that only comes once in a lifetime regardless of whether you think he is a good actor or not. Just listening to the Piece of the Action Podcast should give you an indication on how much fun we have imitating Schwarzenegger’s wide library of lines.

About the Author

My name is Omar and I love action movies. I grew up loving action films thanks in part to my father who would deliver a healthy dose of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Seagal in my movie diet. Ever since then, I continue to love the genre more and more and go along perfectly with my love for the horror genre. What other movie genre can specialize in giving you pure adrenaline and excitement in every turn?
