10 of the Best: Chuck Norris Movies

I have to admit that I was a late bloomer with Chuck Norris and only saw his films for the first time a few years ago. There is no doubt he is a Legend of Action, so here are my personal favourite movies of his.

10. An Eye for an Eye – Although a bit slow in places, this has some great fight scenes and the added bonus of Christopher Lee.

9. Way of the Dragon – Chuck plays a rare villain and gets his ass handed to him by Bruce Lee.

8. The Hitman – Chuck’s mullet is a sight to behold in this violent actioner with one of the most satisfying and merciless bad guy death’s of all time.

7. Expendables 2 – Although it’s only a cameo, it practically makes the movie; he doesn’t take himself seriously which only adds to the fun.

6. Forced Vengeance – I really liked the story to this one and it has a gritty feel which few of his other films have.

5. Lone Wolf McQuade – David Carradine beats up 3 guys while smoking a cigarette. Nothing else matters.

4. Code of Silence – Arguably Chuck’s best film in terms of story and cast; it also has a great 1 man army showdown at the end.

3. Delta Force 1 & 2 – I love both of these films; men on a mission movies are always great fun and these are two of my personal favourites.

2. Missing in Action Trilogy – The entire trilogy is really strong and was actually out before Rambo with plenty of great action and all 3 are very different from each other rather than just being a rehash of the original. Braddock is a legendary action icon.

1. Invasion USA – My personal favourite because of the sheer ludicrousness of the story. The late Richard Lynch is a great bad guy (Rostov) who literally shoots speople in the balls. The movie arguably has the biggest budget of Chuck’s career up until Expendables 2. The final action scene involving tanks and basically all out war is pretty damn spectacular.
