Why Dwayne Johnson Needs to Be Expendable

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the best action stars in the business today. 2013 looks to be a great year for him with upcoming roles in Snitch, Fast Six and GI Joe: Retaliation.

He has long since proven his “legendary” credentials and I say give him a shot in Expendables Part 3.

Personally, I’d love to see him play the villain; someone who is a trigger happy psychopath and have him in some serious hand to hand combat. He played a (sort of) villain in Doom and was the best thing about the film.

Johnson has great screen presence and is an excellent actor to boot; he also has a huge fan base and can increase the box office by having someone the younger audience will be interested in seeing.

Sly himself has said he wants to have a few younger action stars in Part 3 as a sort of passing of the torch and to me this is the perfect opportunity to bring in The Rock.

Let’s not forget this:

He has said so himself that he wants to be Expendables, so come on Sly; Bring in the big guns and have Dwayne Johnson put boots to asses!

What do you think; do you want The Rock in it? If so, as a hero or villain?
