John McTiernan Working On New Film Despite Jail Time

It is inevitable that John McTiernan will be heading to jail soon, but there is still plenty of support for the man that brought us action classics like Die Hard, Die with a Vengeance, Last Action Hero, and Predator. Well, despite the jail time, it seems like McTiernan is indeed working on a new film. Based on news from the Facebook page Free John McTiernan!, he has been working on a script called Warbirds that concerns a group of aerial firefighters who lead a secret life. It is said to be in the vein of adventure films like The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Hmmm….an old school adventure film from McTiernan? Sounds very promising. It will be a hard road ahead for McTiernan since he had to give up on around six projects due to his misfortunes, but we here will show our neverending support that he will once again grace our screens with awesome action movies for many years to follow.

About the Author

My name is Omar and I love action movies. I grew up loving action films thanks in part to my father who would deliver a healthy dose of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Seagal in my movie diet. Ever since then, I continue to love the genre more and more and go along perfectly with my love for the horror genre. What other movie genre can specialize in giving you pure adrenaline and excitement in every turn?
