Sam Mendes Will Not Return to Direct Bond 24

After the huge success of Skyfall, it would be a given that Bond franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson would ask Mendes to return to direct the next installment of the Bond franchise. However, that is not to be as Mendes will be caught up with other commitments including theater productions in the upcoming year. Mendes, however, has been quoted that Skyfall was “one of the best experiences of my professional life” and that it was hard for him to turn down the offer.

Well, that leaves the door open for a multitude of directors to take the helm at a Bond film. Who could it be? Nolan? Boyle? Neil Marshall? Whoever it may be has to bring his A game to the franchise after the massive critical and financial success of Skyfall.

About the Author

My name is Omar and I love action movies. I grew up loving action films thanks in part to my father who would deliver a healthy dose of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Seagal in my movie diet. Ever since then, I continue to love the genre more and more and go along perfectly with my love for the horror genre. What other movie genre can specialize in giving you pure adrenaline and excitement in every turn?
