This Week’s DVD/Blu Ray Releases

This week there are two big releases. The first one being the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I remember when it came out critics lambasted it, really just because of the 48 FPS, but pleasingly it still went on the make a billion dollars worldwide as it’s every bit the equal of the LOTR movies. In case you’ve been away on Mars for the past 50 years here is the plot: A younger and more reluctant Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, sets out on an “unexpected journey” to the Lonely Mountain with a spirited group of Dwarves to reclaim their stolen mountain home from a dragon named Smaug.

But The Hobbit isn’t really action, is it? Well THIS IS! Check out this rather awesome 4 pack: Eye of the Tiger, The Exterminator 2, Cyclone and Alienator. Admittedly I’ve never heard of Cyclone and Alienator but it’s worth buying for Eye of the Tiger and Exterminator 2. It’s only $7.99 over at Amazon and definitely worth checking out.
