Classic Action Scene: JCVD Street Fights in Hard Target

Hard Target remains one of my very favourite Jean-Claude Van Damme movies; it’s essentially a 2 hour Levi’s commercial except with a huge bodycount.
In this classic scene Natasha played by Yancy Butler is getting mugged, but a stranger with a mullet for the ages saves the day.

Van Damme has rarely been cooler as he snaps arms, throws bad guys through windows and most importantly pushes a guy head first into a metal pole. I also can’t think of another time when someone uses another person’s feet to kick another person. Kudos to John Woo for creating such a legendary scene.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone.
