I Think I Hate Going to the Theatre

So I just came back from a second viewing of Iron Man 3 and I am finding myself hating going to the theatre more and more. I was trying to find something to have to eat which a) wouldn’t give me horrific indigestion and b) didn’t look like ass.

All we have is Pizza Pizza which is arguably the worst pizza in Canada. There was nothing appetizing anywhere so I actually went without any food. Why can’t they have proper food? I don’t mean salads, but just SOMETHING that is fresh and relatively edible, not to mention if it could be reasonably priced.

While I’m on this rant, I was at the food counter and I got to experience the joy of some guy allowing his child to stand on the counter and walk on the food. There were several racks of sweets and the little bastard kept standing on them. Thankfully someone told the man to control his child as it was most unhygienic, so bless you woman for actually doing something rather than standing watching like an idiot (like me).

Before the movie, Cineplex now have this fantastic new time waster called Timeplay where people can play with their phones even more than usual. It involves answering questions to win Scene points and delays the start of the film even more. Then we get more ads than I have ever seen before the trailers. By the time the movie started I needed the toilet again.

Wait, someone is texting, I love when people do that when the lights go down! Despite the fact you were just told to turn your bloody phone off!!

Oh and when the movie begins we are graced with an audio commentary from Damien Thorn who felt like asking his dad EVERYTHING about the movie. Just watch the movie you little twat! Shut the Hell up and pay attention!

I am once again reminded how much I enjoy straight to DVD movies where I can sit in the comfort of my own home without the awfulness of the general public. So I think for After Earth and Now You See Me I will wait for DVD.

I am now off to hide in a dark room away from the entire world. Good day.
