Looking Forward Into 2013 In Action

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been around on the site. Bad guys don’t just beat themselves up so I had to take care of them. However, I spared some time from ass kicking to spring some welcomed knowledge or reminders about future action releases that one might be interested in checking out. Mostly minor stuff as we all know about Fast and Furious 6 and Pacific Rim. So here’s some movies and I what I think they could turn out being:

White House Down

It’s Emmerich so it will be big and loud. The recent trailer showed that it will indeed be comedic. It has some great effects based on the trailer and it could be fun. It all depends on Tatum and his interactions with Foxx. Could be good times.

The Lone Ranger

Don’t really care. Never saw the show and it doesn’t really appeal to me. A rental for me.

This one could be fun like the first movie. The added cast members in Zeta Jones and Hopkins just makes it better.

I know it looks like Hellboy and Men in Black, but I think it has the potential of being a lot of fun.

2 Guns

One of my most anticipated action movies. A buddy action comedy with Wahlberg and Denzel. Count me in!

Been waiting for this for a while. Looks really cool and Damon’s little mecha suit looks to cause plenty of destruction.

Kick-Ass 2

Another really anticipated movie. Looks to up the ante in the ridiculousness which more than welcomed especially with Jim Carrey.

Machete Kills

I heard Trejo talk about this one a little at Texas Frightmare when I attended the panel he was at and he promised more mayhem, blood, and outrageousness. Oh, and Amber Heard is really hot.

Looks like a decent chase thriller. I like Hawke and I can tolerate Selena Gomez so I’m open to it.

This one looks pretty frightening. May end up a sleeper hit.

The new Luc Besson movie. Looks promising and it has a great cast so will be looking out.

Jack Ryan

I’m really curious to this movie. Pine has proven he can hang so it looks to be another winner.

About the Author

My name is Omar and I love action movies. I grew up loving action films thanks in part to my father who would deliver a healthy dose of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Seagal in my movie diet. Ever since then, I continue to love the genre more and more and go along perfectly with my love for the horror genre. What other movie genre can specialize in giving you pure adrenaline and excitement in every turn?
