Mano-A-Mano: Martin Riggs vs. Mr. Joshua – Lethal Weapon

The first Lethal Weapon movie will always be my favourite of the series; although it had plenty of humour, it managed to feel gritty and more serious before Joe Pesci came in and became annoying as hell. Gary Busey plays Mr. Joshua which is actually one of his best roles. He’s the kinda guy who will hold a lighter under his hand and light it to to prove how badass he is; point proven sir.

In this final fight sequence Martin Riggs played by Mel Gibson decides to throw down with his nemesis and they beat nine colours out of each other. Mr. Joshua being a bit of a sadist actually seems to be enjoying it egging on Riggs. You’ll find yourself shouting at the screen watching this fight as it’s incredibly satisfying.
