Nolan to Direct Bond 24?

After the (frankly baffling) success of Skyfall, the James Bond franchise is now more popular than ever. Now that Sam Mendes is no longer sitting in the director’s char, some guy called Christopher Nolan is apparently in talks to direct Bond’s 24th outing.

You’ll remember my very first Dreamteams was a Bond movie directed by Nolan and starring Tom Hardy in the lead role. That won’t ever happen as Craig is very popular with audiences and I imagine he will be guaranteed to return.

Personally I don’t see this happening particularly as Nolan is now busy with his new sci-fi epic Interstellar, which I think more his speed. Don’t get me wrong, I would love to see what Nolan could bring to the Bond series but I just don’t see it happening.

We also have to bear in mind that the original source for this news is The Daily Mail so it’s probably complete bollocks. Either way, Nolan has always said he’s wanted to make a Bond movie so you never know…
