Statham’s Homefront Snags a Release Date

It feels like Jason Statham is one of the hardest working people in Hollywood and yet he never has a huge box office hit. I know I say that a lot but that doesn’t make it any less true.

Homefront is one of my most anticipated movies of his because it was written by Sylvester Stallone himself and aso has James Franco as the villain; the fantastically named Gator.

The movie now has a release date of October 4, 2013.

Synopsis: “The story follows Phil Broker (Statham), an ex-DEA agent who moves his family to a quiet town hoping to escape his past. However, he finds the town to be overrun with violence, drug traffickers and an evil meth magnate named Gator (Franco). To save his endangered family, retribution is now the only thing Broker seeks.”
