Is There Anything Morgan Freeman Can’t Do?

I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who hates Morgan Freeman; like Kurt Russel he’s the kind of guy that everyone loves watching on screen.

He has to be one of the most versatile actors in the business and and can play pretty much any role. He has one of the most soothing voices in the business and whenever you need a voice over, he’s the man.

He has helped Bruce Wayne become Batman by providing him with all of the gadgets required to fight crime in Gotham City.

Freeman has been the President of the United States when meteors were heading towards Earth, spelling certain doom for us all. Thankfully he gave an inspiring speech, as only he can do and the world was saved.

He’s also aided Robin Hood and his merry men in finding justice for the poor from the corrupt Sheriff of Nottingham.

When Tom Cruise was facing Oblivion, there was Freeman giving a guiding hand to help save the world.

Morgan has even visited the wild west and befriended Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven.

Morgan Freeman has also played the one role that few other actors could do so well; he is in fact GOD. In Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty he has guided two men who are at their wits end with the world and shown them the right path.

When Tim Robbins was facing a future behind bars without hope in The Shawshank Redemption, guess who helped him? Yup, Morgan.

Nelson Mandela was portrayed to perfection by Freeman in Invictus which was directed by Clint Eastwood, one of Freeman’s best friends.

He’s not always a nice guy though; occasionally he’ll turn to the dark side like in Wanted  where he’ll play a pretty nasty assassin who tricks poor James McAvoy but eventually gets his comeuppance.

I think the only role I haven’t seen him play yet is a woman; so come Morgan, find a dress and I bet you’ll managed to look hot. Is that weird? probably, who cares?
