James McTiegue to Direct Bloodsport Remake

I am actually a fan of James McTiegue; I think he’s a good director. After all, he did make V for Vendetta which was one of my favourite films. However I was kinda hoping that this remake was dead in the water because as well all know JCVD is not involved in any way.

Like he said himself, it’s like a Rocky movie without Stallone so I am not sure how to feel about it. Then the other part of me says who cares? The original is still out there so I will stick to watching that. If we don’t get Van Damme in it, can we get Scott Adkins instead?

Details are scarce in terms of story but once we know we will let you all know.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone.
