Full Synopsis Revealed for The Expendables 3

Yes, the day has finally come where we find out the plot for the third (and probably best) of The Expendables series. You’ll see in the picture that Mel Gibson is looking bigger than he ever has proving that action stars don’t get older, they get better.

SYNOPSIS: “In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.”

CAST: “THE EXPENDABLES 3 will feature Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to their roles in the first two films with Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford joining the all-star cast along with Kellan Lutz, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell.”

Director: Patrick Hughes

Sadly it looks like Jackie Chan is nowhere to be seen, which is a shame but with the added bonus of Gibbo, Puss in Boots and Han Solo then I have a feeling this will blow the other movies out of the water.

The Expendables 3 hits theaters in August 2014.
