Martial Arts Trailer for The Miller’s Tale

Joey Corpora sent us a few short clips to some upcoming shorts he’s working on with his company Platypus Underground.

According the the official site fake heads, fountains of blood, clashing swords, blazing guns, hoards of ninjas, slick-talking mobsters, pink robed wizards, Ape-a-Gators, enchanted forests, daring adventurers, lots of kung fu, super-human slayers, and vampire-aliens are what they are all about.

Platypus Underground, Ltd. is a film production company based in Easton, PA. The company was founded on January 1, 2012, by Joey Corpora, Kale Sweeney, and Shannon Lee Haines.

Their films are heavily influenced by their studies in the martial arts, as well as their love for quirky humor and action movies.

The first clip is called The Miller’s Tale and is a 30 second teaser with a topping of ass-kicking. The digital download of The Miller’s Tale contains the 4-minute action packed street fighting short by Platypus Underground.

You can check it out below.

The next short is for a martial arts fantasy called Prince Ashley and the Magical Crystal Quest

According to the YouTube page “Epic battles, evil magic, demon armies, and dank dungeons await in Prince Ashley and the Magical Crystal Quest, a swashbuckling sword and sorcery flick about a lost prince’s quest to reclaim the throne and save his kingdom from darkness by battling an evil wizard and his demon army.

This short film is just a small part of the larger story. A feature film version is currently being planned!”
