Vivek J. Tiwary Interview

Okay, this may not be Action-related, but who doesn’t love The Beatles? This past weekend at Toronto Fan Expo 2013, I was privileged to speak with Broadway producer Vivek J. Tiwary, the driving force behind a new graphic novel The Fifth Beatle – the Brian Epstein Story.

Brian Epstein managed the Beatles during the early days, as they struggled to gain a foothold in the music industry. He guided them to a level of stardom that has rarely been witnessed before or since. Epstein helped to engineer Beatlemania, and the astonishing legacy the Fab Four left on popular culture.

The Fifth Beatle –the Brian Epstein Story is a colourful, entertaining insight into Epstein’s life, and the massive obstacles he faced during those heady days of the 1960s.

Take a look at my interview, and the trailer underneath.

You can buy the graphic novel from November 19, 2013. Vivek also has plans for a feature film too.

Action movies are a heightened version of life. They are wish fulfillment fantasies realized. I have loved this genre since I was a kid. I feel sorry for all the critics who look down on this visual, visceral genre. They just don't GET it!! Let's keep Action alive!
