Teaser Trailer for CYBORG NEMESIS: THE DARK RIFT

As most of you know, sadly Albert Pyun (Cyborg, Nemesis, etc) is retiring from film-making due to ill-health. He is however finishing work on his long overdue Cyborg Movie: CYBORG NEMESIS: THE DARK RIFT.

I loved Nemesis and the original Cyborg because despite having a limited budget Pyun could always create a desolate looking future which looks convincing and scary.

Bear in mind that this is only a rough teaser at this stage so the special effects shots are incomplete but it’s just to give us an idea of the story.

In terms of cast, Pyun is in discussions with Ving Rhames, Kevin Sorbo, Dina Meyer, Natassia Malthe, Cris Cyborg, Michael Pare, Sasha Mitchell and Kassandra Clementi.

Synopsis: The Future…dark…dangerous…and more than human.

A US Marine special ops team awakens from a hypersleep in a locked-down underground laboratory complex with no memory of who they are and why they are there. They realize that something’s wrong since they’re all alone – the complex is abandoned. The team is forced to learn who put them to sleep ten years earlier and why – as they discover a creature has infiltrated the complex.
