Trailer for the Unreleased Snake Plissken Video Game

It looks like we will never see Kurt Russell return to his most iconic role as Snake Plissken in a live action feature any time soon; what some may not know is that there was a video game planned for 2005 called Snake Plissken’s Escape and a trailer appeared on Vimeo for it a few weeks back.

It looks like the game would have been pretty awesome and would have given fans the chance to finally be the legend of action.

Kurt Russell was going to provide the voice and it had been approved by John Carpenter too, but for reasons unexplained, the project got canned and it never got released.

Interestingly enough Metal Gear Solid’s hero Solid Snake was loosely based on Plissken too.

Check out the trailer below and lament with me that we never got to play it.
