Classic Action Scene: Bad Boys II Freeway Chase

Say what you will about Michael Bay but the man knows how to shoot a car chase; this scene is arguably the highlight of the entire film with cars falling off trucks onto the freeway and plenty of smashy smashy for all the family.

It also manages to be in incredibly poor taste as dead bodies start falling from another vehicle only to be run over… classy.

Props to Bay though, he uses very little (if any) noticeable CGI and even commented “People think it’s all fake, and it’s not. The cars coming off are all real. It’s physical, it’s real, it’s very dangerous.”

New film-makers take note: if you can do it practically then make it so. Works better than CGI every single time.

Anyway, enough from me, enjoy the freeway chase from Bad Boys II below.
