Extraction Day Trailer

SYNOPSIS: A man wakes up on the floor of a dark, cold room, surrounded by lifeless bodies. He has no idea where he is, who he is, or how he got there. The first thing he is told is that he has the secret to mankind’s survival and no matter what happens next, he needs to survive! The only problem is, he doesn’t remember what that secret is, or who he can trust.

IndieGoGo Details

We at High Rise Studio are in the midst of making our sophomore film entitled “Extraction Day”. With this action packed movie, we want to provoke and inspire people to rise up and become the individuals that they were created to be. As filmmakers we want to create art that changes people.

There are always people on the other end of our decisions, whether good or bad; and when we live a life that is beneath what we were created for, the world around us suffers. We are extremely passionate about this movie, because we believe that it has the power to change and will impact current culture.

To date, we have finished our first round of production and are about to enter our next phase, but we need your help.

The entire movie is filmed, except for the inciting event and the final showdown. The opening scene of the movie revolves around an organization called GATE, receiving a tip on the whereabouts of an important individual. Outmanned and under gunned they send in an extraction team to secure their key suspect. For this grand scene we need air canons, prop weapons, outfits and some extremely bad-ass men. And as for the ending – well, you’ll just have to come out to see it…

We purposely haven’t filmed these scenes because they are the biggest, “baddest” and most expensive scenes of the entire movie. Up ‘til now, we haven’t had the resources to film them.

That is, until we met you.

So far we have been funding this movie out of our own pockets and now that our pockets are empty, we are reaching out to you… kind folks with deeper pockets.

With the money we raise we are going to be hiring actors, buying props, expanding our wardrobe, building sets and renting locations.

We are doing the impossible by making a big time action movie on a small independent budget. We want to make sure you are aware that not a penny of your money will go to paying, or feeding, us. (We have the best craft in the world, Matt’s mom).

In addition, a percentage of all funds will be donated to Reaching Out Romania to support Iana and The Hope Narrative and help them put a stop to human trafficking in Romania. For more information visit:

We are in need of $15,000 to finish the rest of our production. See the list on the right for opportunities to pledge support.

Even if you are unable to support us financially by pledging, you can still help our team. Use Facebook, Twitter or Indiegogo share tools to spread the word to your friends and family.

Thank you for your support and for helping us tell stories.
