New on DVD/Blu Ray: Thor: The Dark World

Thor: The Dark World may well be my favourite Marvel movie yet; I had a blast with it and Brian Tyler’s score is easily the best superhero theme since Danny Elfman’s Batman.

The movie is now available to own and we’ve got the special features listed below.

Synopsis: Exploring Thor’s relationship with the Asgardian all-father Odin, as well earthbound companion Jane Foster, “Thor: The Dark World” follows the God of Thunder to The Nine Realms beyond Asgard and earth. And as his evil half-brother, Loki, returns for Asgardian justice, a new threat rises. Also rejoining Thor are his fellow Asgardians, Lady Sif, gatekeeper Heimdall and Warriors Three, as they encounter mythical Norse creatures among evildoers.

Special Features

All Hail The King – A Marvel One-Shot;

A Brothers Journey – Thor & Loki;

Exclusive Look – Captain America: The Winter Soldier;

Scoring Thor: The Dark World With Bryan Tyler;

Deleted & Extended Scenes;

Gag Reel;

Audio Commentary with Director Alan Taylor, Producer Kevin Feige, Actor Tom Hiddleston (Loki) and Cinematographer Kramer Morgenthau; and more!
