*Updated* Is Bradley Cooper the New Indiana Jones?

*As expected this is absolutely untrue and Disney have no plans to reboot the Indiana Jones series.*

This is from Latino Review so take it with a pinch of salt but they are reporting that Bradley Cooper may be up for a reboot of Indiana Jones.

At first I thought “Blasphemy!” but then I thought “well, it worked for James Bond”; as long as we don’t get a remake of Raiders, I actually don’t really have a problem with a different actor playing the famed archaeologist as long as he is going on new adventures. Obviously I’d always rather see Harrison Ford play Indy but as he’s getting so much older now, It’s getting more doubtful that he’ll don the fedora again.

With Disney now owning the rights to… actually pretty much everything, they will probably want a fresh start and despite what doubts I may have, I do think Cooper would be an excellent choice. I believe it’s just a rumour at this stage but don’t be surprised if this happens.
