Toronto ComiCon 2014: The Geeks Inherit the Earth

It’s that time of year again; time to dust off your finest Chewbacca costume and spend a lot of money on comics, toys and memorabilia at the Toronto ComiCon.

This year the special guests include Brandon Routh, Billy Boyd, Sean Astin, Eliza Dusku, Allison Mack, Giancarlo Esposito, Jon Heder and a host of comic book writers and artists.

I personally picked up Commando and Escape Plan posters (Keeping action alive, kids!) and a Batman/Judge Dredd crossover book.

Events include Innerspace Live with the cast of Bitten where you can join Innerspace hosts Ajay Fry, Morgan Hoffman and Teddy Wilson as they chat with cast members of the hit series Bitten.

The other Innerspace Live event is with the cast of Orphan Black, including Dylan Bruce, Jordan Gavaris, Kevin Hanchard and co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson.

You can also meet InnerSpace hosts Ajay Fry, Morgan Hoffman and Teddy Wilson! Photo-ops, Autograph signings and free giveaways every day of the event. Photo-op on Sunday at 3:30pm. Autograph signing Saturday at 11am.

They will also be joined by Being Human stars Sam Witwer, Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath and Kristen Hager.

The Toronto ComiCon and FanExpo shows are becoming incredibly popular with fans; with bigger events and special guests every year, it’s essential for fans of practically every genre.
