Seagal Talks Under Siege 3

Thanks to Miroslav Petkov for bringing this to our attention.

In a recent interview with The Big Issue, Steven Seagal mentioned that he has been working on Under Siege 3.

He said that he would like to set the movie in Russia: “I think that America and Russia should be great allies and great friends. And can be. What I want to do is write a movie, which I’ve sort of already done, where Russian special forces and American special forces work together to combat terrorism“, Seagal revealed, adding that “the only way for us to prosper as a human race is for us to get along. There are hundreds of millions of people that want that“.

And by getting along he means beating people to death with his bare hands… I’m sold.

He also mentions that he doesn’t want to be too big in scale; “I don’t want it to look like Die Hard 47 or something like that. I’d like to make it a bit more realistic if I can“.

We all know his films thrive on “realism” but this certainly sounds like a different direction for the series to go in and I’d probably check it out.
