‘Dark Knight’,’Inception’ composer Hans Zimmer playing UK concerts

Attention movie score fans, Hans Zimmer has announced two UK shows.

The film composer will be performing pieces from throughout his career at the Hammersmith Apollo on October 10 and 11.

The concerts will be in two parts, the first featuring pieces from classic scores including Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean.
The second will feature re-imagined versions of scores including The Dark Knight and Inception.

Zimmer will be joined by “a few surprise special guests”.

“Performing a concert series like this is something that I have always wanted to do, and I am thrilled that that time has finally come,” said Zimmer.
“I am very excited to get some of my very talented friends together and give our audiences an experience unlike any concert they have ever been to before.”
