Freddie Prinze Jr. Blames “Unprofessional” Kiefer Sutherland for Making Him Want to Quit Acting

So it seems that Kiefer Sutherland may be more like Jack Bauer than we thought.

Speaking to ABC News during Comic-Con, Freddie Prinze Jr. said he was so miserable shooting 24 in 2010 that he considered quitting show business altogether. “I did 24. It was terrible. I hated every moment of it,” he told ABC News. “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash; I’d say it to his face. I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

The actor added, “I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”

After 24, he dealt with another famously hot-headed TV star. “I went and worked for Vince McMahon at the WWE for ****** sake and it was a crazier job than working with Kiefer. But at least he was cool and tall,” Prinze said. “I didn’t have to take my shoes off to do scenes with him, which they made me do. Just put the guy on an apple box or don’t hire me next time. You know I’m 6 feet and he’s 5-foot-4.”
