Snake Plissken Returns!

BOOM! Studios has teased a new project starring Kurt Russell’s Snake Plissken.

The Escape From New York and Escape From LA character will star in a comic from the publisher.

This will mark BOOM!’s second adaptation of a John Carpenter/Russell movie following its newly launched Big Trouble in Little China.

Eric Powell – who is writing Big Trouble with artist Brian Churilla – illustrated the teaser, although he has not been confirmed for the creative team.

The character previously featured in Marvel Comics’ The Adventures of Snake Plissken series and CrossGen’s John Carpenter’s Snake Plissken Chronicles miniseries.

BOOM! is expected to reveal more about the project at San Diego Comic-Con in San Diego this week.
