Stunt Legends Needs Our Support

If ever there’s a project worth fighting for it’s this one; “Stunt Legends” is a documentary by Brady Romberg  that looks to preserve the art and history of Hollywood’s most Legendary Stunt People. Below are details of the Kickstarter campaign for this fascinating documentary.

Stuntmen have been operating in the shadows of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars since the time of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and the Keystone Cops. While names like “Steve McQueen” and “Ernest Borgnine” may be unfamiliar to the youth of 2014, movie fans of all ages can appreciate the death defying feats that were performed by their Stuntmen.

What is this?

Stunt Legends is a documentary that will venture beyond Hollywood’s film vaults and capture a piece of history that is slipping away. The goal is to preserve interviews with our Stunt Legends, as well as the directors, actors and stunt people who were a part of their lives and careers.

What We hope to Accomplish

To complete Stunt Legends, 40 additional interviews will be filmed. We will go after all the greatest stuntmen, stunt women, actors and directors available. Brady has built many great relationships over the past 8 years of being a professional Stuntman. He is also a member of Hollywood’s Stuntmen’s Association of Motion Picture and with them at his back he has access to all the greatest directors, actors and stunt performers out there.

Why I am asking for Funding

A feature film is a lot of work. I am volunteering my time to complete this project, but I can’t do it alone. I need good people around me to help setup interviews, run production, deal with post production, editing, licensing, color, and sound. The budget is needed to deliver a beautiful and unique feature film that all my backers can be proud of.

Why you should Donate

If you care about stunts or stunt people, then you should donate. After scratching the surface with my initial interviews, I realize how important this documentary is to the stunt community and how important it is that we preserve our own history. This is a non-profit project, and all donations will go towards preserving and sharing our history.
