Kill Count: The Raid 2 (2014)

raid09

The Raid 2 is still my favourite film of the year and frankly I don’t see anything knocking it off the number one spot before December; it’s violent, has jaw-dropping fight scenes and is a very different beast from the first film.

Violent? Well, just how violent I hear you say. Well, take a seat my lad, and I shall tell you a tale.

It’s Kill Count time, so let’s see how many bodies hit the floor in The Raid 2: Berendal.

Iko Uwais Kill Count: 28

Yayan Rhian Kill Count: 12

Very Tri Sulliman Kill Count: 10

Julie Estelle Kill Count: 8

Total Kill Count: 58

Really? Only 58? I’m sure there were more than that, especially in the mud fight. I must say I’m slightly disappointed and perhaps even a little crestfallen at this news. Oh well… there’s always The Raid 3…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.

Few people kick more ass that Paul Kersey and I always found this death scene particularly satisfying; there are certain actors who you just despise when they play villains and Michael Parks is one of them. FYI This is no insul...
