Mano-A-Mano: Bruce Lee vs. Kien Shih (Enter the Dragon)

Enter the Dragon remains one of the most important and iconic martial arts movies of all time and it really introduced Bruce Lee to Western audiences in a major way.

Han (Kien Shih) is such a great villain and this final fight scene is one of the all time greats, where we get to witness just how fast Bruce Lee was.

There is also some excellent camera work where some of the fight is from Han’s POV, which has been copied by several other martial arts movies since.

During this climactic scene Lee says to Han that he has offended Lee’s  family and the Shaolin temple; the two warriors then fight hand-to-knife bladed hand which leads into the Hall of Mirrors.

Here’s an interesting tidbit: Over 8,000 mirrors were used to set up the “Hall of Mirrors” scene which must have been great fun to set up…

Sadly, Bruce Lee died 3 weeks before the film’s premiere but his legacy will never be forgotten.
