Dwayne Johnson is Black Adam!

The Rock finally revealed which superhero he will be playing for DC and that is Black Adam!

Black Adam was actually the first hero to receive the Wizard Shazam’s powers (the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles, and the speed of Mercury – spelling SHAZAM). He later became a villain and Billy Batson had to assume the role of Captain Marvel.

After Fawcett shut down, DC acquired the rights to the character and integrated him into the DC Universe.

It is uncertain what role Black Adam will play and in what film. One would assume a Shazam film would be in the works, but Black Adam is a powerful enough villain that he can take on the Justice League if need be. He may become DC’s equivalent to Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Recently he has been depicted as a sort of anti-hero. Who knows, maybe he can even have a solo film.

I have been a Captain Marvel fan for a long time now, so I would hope they do a Shazam film and see where it goes from there. I even own the entire run of Power of Shazam and Captain Marvel’s first appearance in DC comics.

I have been dying for a Captain Marvel movie for a long time and I think that Dwayne The Rock Johnson is perfect for Black Adam.

Death Wish 2: Do You Believe in Jesus?

Death Wish 2 is easily the most brutal in the series and that rape scene was always horrific to watch; I’ll be honest and say I usually fast forward that part. This scene however, has some dark humour as Paul Kersey (Char...
