Stylish Trailer for Jesse Johnson’s The Beautiful Ones

The Beautiful Ones is a retelling of Romeo and Juliet set within the Los Angeles underworld. It’s directed by Jesse V. Johnson who recently made the Dolph Lundgren/Steve Austin movie The Package.

The Beautiful Ones looks incredibly stylish and the black and white visuals make it extra cool too. The trailer alone has some stunning slo-mo shots and the dialogue flows nicely as well.

I’m a huge fan of Brian Tee and it’s great to see him have a role in this film. It also stars Ross McCall in the lead as Gabriel Tancredi with a supporting cast that includes Eric Roberts, Fernanda Andrade and Ed Lauter.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
