We Want a JCVD & Mark Dacascos Movie!

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Mark Dacascos are two of my all-time favourite action stars, but one thing has always bothered me; why have we never seen these two action titans in a movie together?

Both actors are known for their martial arts prowess so it would be awesome to see these two action heroes on screen.

I have a few ideas of what I’d like to see so here are a few suggestions.

Both of them have to reluctantly team up together in an old-school buddy type of movie. I like the idea of having two actors in their 50’s doing roles like this as buddy movies tend to focus more on younger cops.

Perhaps one of them could be corrupt where the other is more idealistic; this causes various clashes between them and buddy banter galore.

Another idea could be to have one of them as a good guy and the other as the villain. I like the idea of JCVD playing a gangster and Dacascos could be his protégé who is power hungry and wants to take over the business. What begins as rivalry rapidly turns into all-out war climaxing with a 15 minute fight scene between Mark and Jean-Claude.

Mark could also play the villain as he has been fantastic as Wo Fat on Hawaii Five-0.

I still think Dacascos should be in The Expendables series in some capacity too; I’m not sure if we’ll see a part 4, but you never know. He actually had a role in a parody called The Extendables about a struggling and publicly disgraced Hollywood icon who gets another shot at mega stardom when he is hired to star and direct an action movie in Uzbekistan.

But I digress; come on Jean-Claude and Mark, do a movie together and give us a Hard R action spectacular. That is all.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.

Forgotten Sequel: Road House 2 (2006)

Everyone loves the Patrick Swayze classic Road House; that’s just a fact… unless you’re weird. Anyway, few people actually still talk about its sequel Road House 2: Last Call starring Johnathon Schaech, Richard Norton, Ja...

Watching Die Hard as a Chess Game

Watching the action classic Die Hard the other day, it dawned on me why I liked it so much. Yeah, it’s great to see Bruce Willis yippie-ki-yay around, taking on all the bad guys in his bare feet, and barely escaping peril eve...
