Kill Count: Marked for Death (1990)

marked-for-death

How is this film 24 years old? Where did the time go?

Anyway, Marked for Death is one of the best Steven Seagal films; it was when Hollywood was going through it’s using Jamaicans as villains phase which lasted a couple of years.

In this movie Screwface (Basil Wallace) is a classic bad guy and pretty damn scary to boot. But that doesn’t mater as he just made the wrong cop very, very angry.

So how many bad dudes does our hero John Hatcher (Seagal) take down? Check out the video below.

Seagal Kill Count: 15

Keith David Kill Count: 9

Basil Wallace: 2

Really? That’s all? You’d think by watching it that Hatcher takes out hundreds, especially during the finale. Keith David owns in this movie; I interviewed a few months ago and he said the original script was quite different from the final product.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.

Few people kick more ass that Paul Kersey and I always found this death scene particularly satisfying; there are certain actors who you just despise when they play villains and Michael Parks is one of them. FYI This is no insul...
