Classic Action Scene: Police Station Shoot-out from The Terminator

This is the first (but certainly not the last) time we hear Arnold Schwarzenegger say his iconic “I’ll Be Back!” line.

I think this might be his best delivery of the line too as it’s totally without emotion and indeed machine like.

I am currently reading a book just now called Terminator Vaults which is about the making of the first two films in the series.

In the book Arnold and James Cameron talk about the movements of he Terminator and the way it should move its head. This is very apparent in this scene as when the T-800 is mowing down the cops, he doesn’t flinch when firing a shot gun with one hand.

This scene is incredibly tense and you really wonder how Sarah is going to get out of there alive.
