JCVD to Co-star in ‘Jian Bing Man’

City on Fire are reporting that the Muscles from Brussels himself will have a co-starring role in upcoming Chinese actioner Jian Bing Man.

The movie will also star Da Peng (who is also directing), Ada Liu (Badges of Fury) and Yuan Shanshan (One Day).

It’s apparently a superhero comedy but at this time there are no official plot details.

Any movie with Jean-Claude Van Damme in it will immediately grab my attention and I have to admit that I like the idea of seeing him do more lighter fare.

He’s been awfully serious for the past decade, aside from Welcome to the Jungle so I’m looking forward to seeing more of this project.

Jian Bing Man has a release date in China set for July 17, 2015.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
