Don’t Expect The Raid 3 Anytime Soon

the-raid-redemption-03212012

This isn’t very surprising as we all knew that director Gareth Evans has previously mentioned that the third movie in The Raid series won’t be out for a few years.

On Twitter today he said “The Raid 3 isn’t going to be happening anytime soon. Ideas in my head. Nothing written. No set date. 2018/19 possibly.”

Well that’s a kick in the knickers; usually a sequel comes out 2-3 years after the last movie but I worry that waiting so long may mean fan anticipation will have lowered and there may be less interest by 2018/19.

Personally, I’ll be there no matter how long it takes as both movies have practically redefined the genre.

Any more news and we shall let you know…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
