Dig – New Action/Thriller TV Series

The murder of an American on foreign soil uncovers ancient intrigue and a dangerous conspiracy in the new action-thriller series DIG. From the creators and executive producers of Homeland and Heroes, and starring Jason Isaacs and Emmy Award-winner Anne Heche, DIG premieres Wednesday, March 11 at 10pm ET/7pm PT on Showcase in Canada.

Filmed in contemporary Jerusalem, Croatia and New Mexico, DIG follows FBI agent Peter Connelly (Isaacs, Awake) as he investigates the murder of a young American. Recently stationed in Jerusalem, Peter realizes he has uncovered an ancient international conspiracy that threatens to change the course of human history. Certain that a dangerous prophecy is nearing fruition, he must race against the clock to unravel the mystery. The fast-paced adventure takes viewers on a worldwide quest for the truth, from a remote farm in Norway, to a compound in New Mexico, to the tunnels of Jerusalem.

Created and executive produced by Tim Kring (Heroes) and Gideon Raff (Homeland), DIG also stars Alison Sudol (Transparent), David Costabile (Breaking Bad), Richard E. Grant (Downton Abbey), Regina Taylor (The Unit), Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under), Omar Metwally (Non-Stop) and Ori Pfeffer (World War Z).
