Villain Ideas for Fast & Furious 8

I know The Fast & Furious is everywhere just now so you’re probably sick of the sight of it but bear with me as I think I’ve just had a brainwave.

We’ve all been wondering if there should be an eighth entry in the series and after the hilariously huge box office, it’s now inevitable. Faster and Even More Furiouser 8 (working title) is meant to be set in New York and now that we’ve had Statham, Jaa and co as villains who should be the big bad for Part 8?

Well I’ve got an idea for a few actors so here goes.

Donnie Yen is my number one choice to play the villain as it would really cement his name with Western audiences and the fight scenes would be amazing too. I always loved Jet Li’s character from Lethal Weapon 4 because he barely spoke which just made him more threatening so something like that would be awesome. We rarely get to see Yen as a main villain so I’d love to see him bring the pain to Dom and Co. I’m not sure on what capacity but I’d just love to see him join the biggest action franchise right now. I know we’d rather see him in an Expendables movie but it looks like that franchise is dead for now (aside from the TV show).

Scott Adkins still needs that major role to make him an A-list action hero and I’d enjoy watching him go all Boyka on the crew. In fact, now that I think about it I’d also like to see him as a good guy just as long as he gets to kick some major ass.

Michael Jai White is another actor who should join the series and he’s always good value as a bad guy, but mainstream audiences maybe haven’t seen how good he is at martial arts so there is some more potential for quality beatdowns.

Now that Luke Goss is finished with the Death Race movies, it would be the perfect next step to join the Fast & Furious series and like Scott Adkins it would really help to raise his profile as not only does he have the driving skills but he can act as well.

So those are just a few ideas for future Furious movies but Donnie Yen would be the perfect choice as a vicious villain.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.

Forgotten Sequel: Road House 2 (2006)

Everyone loves the Patrick Swayze classic Road House; that’s just a fact… unless you’re weird. Anyway, few people actually still talk about its sequel Road House 2: Last Call starring Johnathon Schaech, Richard Norton, Ja...

Watching Die Hard as a Chess Game

Watching the action classic Die Hard the other day, it dawned on me why I liked it so much. Yeah, it’s great to see Bruce Willis yippie-ki-yay around, taking on all the bad guys in his bare feet, and barely escaping peril eve...
