Deleted Scene from Predator (1987)

Every now and again you stumble upon a rather cool video while scouting the internet and although I’ve seen this before it’s still an interesting watch.

It’s a deleted scene from the Arnold Schwarzenegger classic Predator from 1987 and features Dutch Schaefer trying to escape from the alien hunter.

Keep your eyes open for when you see the “Predator” swinging through the trees as it cuts to the studio with a dude swinging on wires, which is how the scenes with the special effects were created.

I especially enjoy how it’s not just the predator that’s the only adversary for Dutch as he has to deal with the jungle’s other inhabitants all while trying to survive.

Check out the video below.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
