Jason Momoa & Bruce Willis to Star in Action Comedy

Bruce Willis

It’s been a while since we’ve been excited about a new Bruce Willis film as he’s been phoning it in for so long however his new project sounds like it might be quite entertaining.

THR is reporting that Jason Momoa, Thomas Middleditch and Famke Janssen are in negotiations to join Bruce Willis in an untitled action comedy being directed by Mark and Robb Cullen, who wrote Willis’ Cop Out.

Nicolas Chartier, Zev Foreman and Lauren Ford will be producing, with the movie eyeing a late-June start in Los Angeles. Patrick Newall will serve as executive producer. The Cullens also are producing.

Willis is set to star as a private eye in Los Angeles whose professional and personal worlds collide when his dog is stolen by a gang.

Momoa is in negotiations to play a gang leader who ends up with the dog and forces the private eye to do some jobs for him.

Middleditch is in negotiations to play a geek working in Willis’ one-man operation.

Janssen will play Willis’ sister-in-law.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
