The Violence Suppressor by Irving Force

I’ve always been a massive fan of 80’s style electronica/synthesizer music; I think it must stem from being a huge John Carpenter fan. Swedish musician Adam Skog/Irving Force has just released his second EP and although it’s not directly from a film, it’s inspired by some of the classics.

His official bio is as follows:

“IRVING FORCE – crime fighter of the new world, deterrer of civil unrest and violence suppressor. The ultimate law enforcer, trained by the companies that own the world to clean up their streets when things get too messy. Because when society can no longer be controlled by law, you must control it… By FORCE.

IRVING FORCE and the soundtrack that follows him was created by Adam Skog. A metal musician from Stockholm turned electronic music producer. His love for sci-fi, horror and action films of the 80’s and 90’s guides him as he scores the scenes for the retro-futuristic Irving Force movie playing in his head.

With releasing THE VIOLENCE SUPPRESSOR EP, the followup to the well-received “Undercover EP” from earlier this year, he hopes to come one step closer to materializing Irving Force and bring the listener deeper into his world.”

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
