Could We See a Sequel to Edge of Tomorrow?

Director Chris McQuarrie took to Twitter tonight to do a bit of a Q and A with fans for the new Mission: Impossible movie Rogue Nation.

One fan Michael J. Smith asked if we could expect a sequel to the Tom Cruise movie Edge of Tomorrow from last year. Rather than a “no it probably won’t happen” McQuarrie said “Retweet if you want it” while tagging Warner Bros. in the message.

As much as I loved Edge of Tomorrow I’m not really sure it warrants a sequel; it worked just fine by itself, however if it were to get the green light I would certainly give it a shot as the first movie was a bit of a gem.
