Kill Count: El Gringo (2012)

Scott Adkins stars in this rather underrated actioner from After Dark Action; and yes this is a kind of follow up to my blog yesterday.

El Gringo was an action comedy from director Eduardo Rodriguez and was something a little different for Scott as well.

Plot: A man with a suitcase full of money and a bloody past crosses into Mexico and comes under attack in the town of El Fronteras.

When I watched the film again recently I thought “Wow, he really kills a lot of people in this movie!”

But just how many?

Kill Count: 64

That’s an incredibly impressive death toll, Mr. Adkins. Well played indeed.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
