Trailer for Michael Bay’s 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

Welcome back Michael Bay; now if we could have more films that look like this than more Transformers sequels I’d be a happy man. This looks beautifully shot (as always) and may be his best work in years.

The film stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, Max Martini, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, and Freddie Stroma. Filming began in April in Malta.

According to Variety 13 Hours is based on the Mitchell Zuckoff’s book “Thirteen Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi.”

It centers on the six members of a security team who fought to defend the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi from an attack of Islamist militants on Sept. 11, 2012 — the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
