Hard Target 2 is Coming?

Apparently hunting season isn’t over as after 20 years we are finally getting a sequel to the JCVD classic. Sadly, Jean-Claude Van Damme doesn’t appear to be involved and John Woo is only on board as a producer but the fact that he is even producing is a plus.

Roel Reiné (Dead in Tombstone, Death Race 2/3) is on board to direct the film and is currently busy with the casting process.

Apparently filming will start in October and November in Thailand. According to no.nl the story to this sequel is “the human hunt continued in the jungles between Burma and Thailand.”

John Woo discussed the project saying “Though I had resolved at the time to do no sequels to this project, I could not say no,” said Reiné. “What an honor to work for one of your idols. Hard Target 2 should be an ode to the old films John Woo made in Hong Kong.”

Not sure I’m interested with no JCVD but I’ll wait and see who is cast…

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
