The Last Boy Scout Gets Official Soundtrack Release

It’s only taken over 20 years for us to finally see this day but we are about to get an official version of Michael Kamen’s score to the classic The Last Boy Scout.

This is one of my all-time favourite movies and Kamen was the king of the action movie score with Die Hard, Lethal Weapon and many more under his belt.

The good folks at La-La Land Records are releasing the score to The Last Boy Scout this month (August 25th) but it’s limited to 3000 copies so if you see it you’d better pick it up ASAP.

Let’s hope it contains Friday Night’s a Good Night for Football which was a fabulously cheesy song used in the opening scene of the movie.

I grew up watching JCVD, Sly and Arnold destroy bad guys, blow things up and spew one-liners like it's a fashion statement. Action is everything I go to the movies for and the reason I came up with this site is to share my love for the genre with everyone. We also want to help promote new talent whether you're making blockbusters, low-budget Indie movies or fan films; if it's action, it's awesome.
